POLICY

Sick Policy

This may be the first “school-like” experience for you and your child. Please keep in mind that children love to share. Toys and re-usable materials provided at in-person classes will be sanitized between classes; however, this is no guarantee that toys (and germs) will not be shared amongst children in your playgroup. Be mindful of washing your hands prior to class and keeping things as clean as possible. To minimize the spreading of germs between little ones, we ask that everyone respects one another and adheres to our sick policy and COVID-19 safety measures.

If anyone has a fever, is experiencing diarrhea, vomiting, and/or green mucous, please stay home.  In order to protect the safety of our participating families, we ask that all parents and children are symptom-free for 24 hours prior to the start of your in-person class.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

If you are experiencing any symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please remain home. We ask for your understanding when we find it necessary to enforce our policy of not permitting sick participants in class. The following additional measures have been taken in order to protect the safety of participants and staff:

Class sizes will be limited to allow for distancing measures in an outdoor space. A class waiver must be completed before the class series begins and all participants must adhere to our Sick Policy. Please bring and wear a mask before entering any in-person classes. Children under 5 years are not required to wear a mask. Temperatures will be taken upon entering. Hand sanitizer, gloves, and masks are readily available.

Typically we encourage parents and children to play together; however, in light of current circumstances your safety and health are our #1 priority! Your blanket or designated mat will be used to delineate your family’s play space during in-person classes. Think of this space as your little family bubble. If you child starts to “float” away, please pick them up and bring them back to your family bubble. Toys and re-usable materials are sanitized between classes. At this time, each family bubble will be designated particular toys and materials. Please do not share these with another family bubble.

As regulations change, we will continue to update our requirements and safety measures in line with best practices. Thank you for your cooperation.

Refund Policy

We all know life happens and unexpected things can throw a wrench in our plans, especially when we have little ones. If something changes and you can no longer attend a class that you registered for, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer the space to another family. We require a minimum of 7 days notice prior to the start of your playgroup for a full refund. Sometimes things happen last minute though, so we will do our best to work with you! If you or another adult can no longer attend a playgroup series that you’ve already started, we can prorate the remaining classes in your series. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel attendance to a parent workshop or scheduled parent support and occupational therapy appointment for a full refund.

If for any reason outside of our control, Wayz To Play must cease holding in-person classes, we will continue our classes virtually. In this event, we are unable to issue any refunds or credits to any classes in the middle of their series.
